The XL Haversack is approximately 16" x 16" and is large enough to hold your equipment for the day. It is a single pouch with no pockets or extra frills. We include a removable strap pouch for various small items or survival tins with each bag. 
 
The Strap Pouch itself is 4.5" x 4.5" on average The opening is approx. 1/2" tighter than the body width.
 
It can also be attached to a Roycraft pack frame by utilizing the heavy-duty strap on the back of the bag. This Haversack also features an integrated and adjustable 1.5" wide cotton web shoulder strap.
