Campcraft Outdoors – Homestead Medical Training
The Campcraft Outdoors Tactical Emergency Medical Responder (Tactical EMR) course is a 60-hour, two-weekend intensive training program designed to prepare the non-medical protector to deliver immediate, lifesaving medical care in high-threat, austere, and post-incident environments.
This course is built for homesteaders, protectors, preparedness-minded civilians, security personnel, and community leaders who understand that professional EMS response may be delayed, unavailable, or overwhelmed during major incidents.
REQUIRED Course Schedule
Weekend 1: August 29–30
Weekend 2: September 5–7
Total Training Time: 60 hours
Training Days: Up to 12 hours per day
This is a demanding course. Expect long days, practical scenarios, and performance-based evaluation.

Emergency Medical Response (EMR-level care)
Tactical Operations & Movement
Care Under Fire
Tactical Field Care & Prolonged Care Considerations
Training emphasizes decision-making under stress, movement with purpose, medical care in unsafe environments, and realistic problem-solving, not classroom-only theory.

HSI Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Certification

Campcraft Outdoors Tactical EMR Certification & Patch
Course Purpose & Scope
This course is designed to prepare the non-medical protector to provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients during tactical homestead and community defense operations—when professional help may not be immediately available.
This is not a casual first aid class.
This course is not designed for individuals seeking EMS credentials, ambulance employment, or state licensure pathways. While the medical skills taught are legitimate and lifesaving, the focus is on civilian tactical medical response, not professional EMS career development.
Prerequisites
Must hold current CPR Certification prior to enrollment
Students must be physically capable of extended training days and scenario work
