Tactical Emergency Medical Responder (Tactical EMR)

Campcraft Outdoors – Homestead Medical Training

The Campcraft Outdoors Tactical Emergency Medical Responder (Tactical EMR) course is a 60-hour, two-weekend intensive training program designed to prepare the non-medical protector to deliver immediate, lifesaving medical care in high-threat, austere, and post-incident environments.

  • Weekend 2: September 5–7

Course Purpose & Scope

This course is designed to prepare the non-medical protector to provide immediate lifesaving care to critical patients during tactical homestead and community defense operations—when professional help may not be immediately available.

This is not a casual first aid class.

This course is not designed for individuals seeking EMS credentials, ambulance employment, or state licensure pathways. While the medical skills taught are legitimate and lifesaving, the focus is on civilian tactical medical response, not professional EMS career development.

Prerequisites

  • Must hold current CPR Certification prior to enrollment

  • Students must be physically capable of extended training days and scenario work

Who This Course Is For

  • Homesteaders and preparedness-focused families

  • Protectors and community defenders

  • Civilians who take responsibility for medical readiness seriously

  • Those who understand that medical skills are force multipliers

Who This Course Is NOT For

  • Those looking for EMT or paramedic licensure

  • Anyone unwilling to train under stress

  • Those seeking a classroom-only or comfort-based course

This is a serious course for serious people.
