I've wanted to write about this for a while now but kept putting it off. But if I don't share it, I'm doing you a disservice. Beginning this fall, in 2022, we'll start to experience a famine of Biblical proportion for the first time as a nation. Many immediately jump onto the political bandwagon to blame the current administration and its policies. NO! This is not a correct response, as this has been building for decades, the past two precisely. While I would agree that the current administration has done nothing to stave off or help these matters, they are not the root cause.
Ephesians 6:12 NIV "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against."
We're in a fallen world and are ruled over by the powers of The Adversary (Satan). We are beginning to see the zenith of his influence on the earth: corruption, death, decay, and defilement of all things. At the pinnacle of his reign, we'll see his destruction- all the things we've experienced in the past few years- storms, wildfires, earthquakes, plagues, wars, pestilence, and the coming famine have been foretold in the Holy Bible with incredible accuracy.
Numbers 35:33 ESV "You shall not pollute the land in which you live, for blood pollutes the land, and no atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, except by the blood of the one who shed it."
We, as Americans, have defiled the land through the shedding of innocent blood through abortion, rape, murder, and various forms of violence, unrepentantly. The time has come to pay the price.
2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV "If my people called by my name humble themselves, pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
It's too little, too late. The Church of America has allowed the world's corruption to infiltrate it. Decisions of church leadership are no longer based on the plain teaching of the scripture but on what is palatable to society. The prayers of those churches ordaining homosexual leaders, allowing sexual abusers to preach from their pulpits, and those more concerned with their denominational traditions than the TRUTH of God's word are a stench in the nostrils of the Creator of all things.
Amos 8:11 "Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD."
This famine is one we have been experiencing for DECADES. This lack of the Word of the Lord, the plain truth of the Bible, has led us into this seeker-sensitive, powerless form of Evangelicalism we mistake for the church of Jesus Christ. The true church is not accepted by society or mainline denominations and continues on the fringe, as it always has. God raises reformers from within every denomination to speak the truth and shed light upon the wrongs. But the time has now come to cleanse the land and prepare for the coming of the Lord! The Spirit of Elijah has been poured out. I am the voice of one crying. MAKE A STRAIGHT PATH FOR THE LORD TO TRAVEL!
If you have not been obedient to the call of God all men receive, that call to 1) Make Jesus the Master of your Life, 2) Receive His Holy Spirit and Be Baptized in His name, 3) Follow His teachings, and 4) Teach others the first 3 things which we call, make disciples, then you will suffer greatly in the time soon coming. You have a window of time to repent (Stop what you're doing, tell God you're sorry and do it His way). You have an even smaller window to prepare!
Proverbs 22:3 GNT "Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it, but an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later."
God has spoken to His leaders and we have been saying for many years, PREPARE, there will be a famine of truth, then a famine of food. While none of us will be prepared for every situation, we only need to be obedient to prepare. Shirking it off in the vain hope of "not being here" goes against the entirety of the Scripture. Regardless, it will be enough as it was for the ancient church after the exodus.
News agencies, Ministers both pre and post tribulation thinkers, including CBN are all on the same page with warning those who will listen.
Complaining about costs, gas prices, etc. are things that people stuck in the world do. These are all signs that the kingdom of Satan is crumbling and that the transition to the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. It will be uncomfortable in the transition period, but that's okay! All of Heaven is cheering us on as THE CHOSEN GENERATION. Jesus is the ONLY way, prepare what you can, while you can and rest in the knowledge that He will lead and guide you in the days ahead to be a blessing to many others. God is the only one with the strategy for the church- not the survival/ bushcraft "community".
