Our Heritage

Campcraft Outdoors was never meant to be just another outdoor company. It has always been a family business built on faith, hard work, and a love for the outdoors. I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs and visionaries. As part of the family behind Hunt Brothers Pizza, I had the opportunity to watch an American company grow from an idea into a nationally recognized brand. Along the way, I learned that lasting businesses are built on integrity, innovation, and taking care of people. Those lessons stayed with me and became the foundation for Campcraft Outdoors.

When my wife and I started Campcraft Outdoors, we weren't just building a business. We were building something our family could be part of together. From the very beginning, our children have been involved right alongside us. Today, three of our adult children serve full time in the business, and our fourth still joins us during our busiest seasons. Campcraft Outdoors has truly become a family legacy, and we are grateful to work side by side every day.

We believe there is still a place for American-made outdoor products that are built with care instead of mass produced for convenience. Every item we offer reflects our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and the values that have guided our family from the beginning.

Recognized for American Manufacturing

In 2026, Campcraft Outdoors was recognized by the White House for our commitment to being a Made in USA company. We are grateful for that recognition because it reflects what we have believed from day one. American manufacturing matters. Skilled craftsmen matter. Building products that last still matters. As we continue to grow, our purpose remains the same. We want to build products that families can trust, support American manufacturing whenever possible, and preserve the traditions that bring people together outdoors.

When you choose Campcraft Outdoors, you are supporting more than an outdoor brand. You are supporting a family that believes in hard work, American craftsmanship, and creating products that help people enjoy the outdoors for generations to come.

Honoring Our Roots, Embracing Our Future

Long before Campcraft Outdoors became known for American-made outdoor products, our journey began in 2009 as a survival training organization. Over the years, we have had the privilege of training thousands of students in survival, bushcraft, and wilderness skills. Our instructors have prepared participants for some of television's most demanding survival shows, including Alone, Naked and Afraid, Outlast, and others. Along the way, we became the nation's first survival training provider to earn national accreditation with continuing education credits recognized across all branches of the U.S. military. We were also honored to receive the endorsement of the National Homeschool Association.

Those accomplishments represent an important chapter in our story, and we are deeply grateful for every student, family, and organization that trusted us over the years.

As our family and our company have continued to grow, we have also continued to seek God's direction for the future. After much prayer and consideration, we made the decision in 2026 to conclude all of our survival courses, both in person and online. This was not the end of our mission. It was the beginning of a new season.

Today, our focus is fully devoted to growing Campcraft Outdoors as a family-owned American manufacturer, creating quality outdoor products that help people enjoy the outdoors for generations to come.

While our commercial survival training has come to a close, our passion for teaching remains. Our in-person training continues through Forgehouse Global, where we are able to invest in people through ministry and leadership development while remaining faithful to the calling God has placed on our lives.

As one chapter closes, another begins. The values that shaped us from the beginning remain the same. Faith. Family. Integrity. American craftsmanship. Those are the principles that will continue to guide Campcraft Outdoors for years to come.
