OUR FOUNDER:
Dr. Jason Hunt is a globally recognized survival expert, wilderness medicine authority, and ordained minister who pioneers the integration of faith and bushcraft through his organization, Campcraft Outdoors. Holding doctorates in Ministry, Outdoor Leadership, and Biblical Archaeology, he brings a rare and powerful fusion of theological insight and real-world survival expertise.
With decades of hands-on experience, Dr. Hunt has contributed to major platforms including Discovery, History, National Geographic and national magazines, appeared on television programs, and authored over 250 published articles. He is also the author of The Gospel of Survival, Bushcraft First Aid, and Unveiled Truths, works that equip individuals to thrive both physically and spiritually.
Recognized as a Small Business Leader, Dr. Hunt has engaged at the highest levels, including meeting the President of the United States, Donald Trump, while continuing to remain grounded in his mission: to disciple, equip, and activate others. Through Campcraft Outdoors, he empowers instructors and outdoor enthusiasts to transform their passion for the wilderness into purpose-driven businesses that honor God, steward creation, and impact lives.
