WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO
At Campcraft Outdoors, we believe the wilderness is more than just a place to train—it’s a place to encounter God. Our mission is to equip believers with survival skills and spiritual strength, raising up outdoor leaders who are just as confident in their faith as they are in their fieldcraft. From building shelters to building a legacy, every tool we use and every trail we blaze points back to one truth:
“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children…” – Proverbs 13:22
WHERE FAITH MEETS FIELD
We integrate biblical principles into our gear, our classes, and our courses—empowering you to:
-
Teach with Kingdom authority
-
Steward the land as God intended
-
Disciple others through wilderness mentorship
-
Share the Gospel under open skies
We train instructors to carry more than gear. We train them to carry the calling.
MINISTRY IN ACTION
We’ve seen students pray by the fire, repent on trails, and find their purpose deep in the woods. We believe the wilderness forms leaders, just like it did for Moses, David, Elijah, and Jesus. Through our courses, gear, and gatherings, we’re building a movement of wilderness revivalists. Want to go deeper? Start with our free 7-Day Wilderness Discipleship Challenge below.

At Campcraft Outdoors, we're inspired by the golden age of camping and woodcraft, a time when God’s creation served as a sanctuary for reflection and renewal. The 1840s through the 1970s marked a unique era in American history, when warriors returned home from various theaters of battle to find solace and healing in the wild spaces of their homeland, spaces that we believe reflect the beauty of the Lord’s handiwork. This recreation spurred innovation, giving rise to the outdoor industry we cherish today.
As a family-owned Christian small business, we’ve taken what we’ve learned from these outdoor pioneers and applied it to the gear we craft with care. Guided by the values of stewardship and excellence, we use strong materials, keep things as light as possible, and design with multifunctionality in mind. Nearly every piece of gear—whether a hand-waxed bag or a hand-forged knife—is crafted by hand, with someone pouring a bit of their God-given skill and heart into each unique product.
We create because we’re blessed with the ability to do so. We make because it brings us joy to honor the Creator through our work. Our only competition is ourselves as we strive to grow in our craft. We do it the old-fashioned way, not because it’s easy, but because it’s proven, enduring, and true, just like the faith that guides us.
