The purpose of the SURVIVAL72 Course is to provide students with practical survival skills, knowledge, and the self-rescuer mindset to endure a sudden wilderness emergency scenario using the Emergent-C's of Survival (12 survival kit items) for the initial 72 hours. Students will learn to mitigate a potential crisis and make it an inconvenient camping experience. The multifunctional nature of the items within this survival kit will be discussed, demonstrated, and applied to survival situations and skills including survival first aid, fire making, shelter construction, water purification, and resource collection. This course is based on teaching in Dr. Hunt's book, The Gospel of Survival

Our survival skills will revolutionize your outdoor training by pushing you beyond the limits you would otherwise push yourself to achieve. We believe you operate at the lowest level you are trained, so prepare to have your bar for basic survival skills raised! During the course, you can expect to walk roughly 3-5 miles. You will be carrying all your gear in addition to materials for projects, which you will collect off the landscape.
You will complete various timed exercises, individually, and as part of a team. Each task is designed to make you more self-reliant. If you don't quit, we won't quit on you! Class pace is dictated by student participation if the group is struggling physically or mentally due to heat. rain, etc, class naturally moves at a slower pace.

Come and experience real professional training from instructors that genuinely care about your well-being and want to see you succeed.
