.22 Rifle Survival

NEW CLASS FOR 2020!

The Modern Survival course is a wonderful primer for this course!

The .22 Rifle Survival course will teach you how to extend your survival well beyond the 50-day mark by making use of the .22 long-rifle as a survival tool.  Safety, Marksmanship, field maintenance, team tactics, hunting, woods-craft and more are all part of this class. 

Friday night we'll begin with safety briefings and firearms field maintenance. Saturday will begin with a Marksmanship course covering a variety of skills and tactics which will lead to the remaining time of hunting and survival-based skills and challenges. 

4.8 CEU issued for this course.

The minimum age for class participation is 18 years of age. 

  • The class begins on Friday night at 7pm sharp. We will have dinner cooking and will begin promptly with the night's lectures and safety briefings.  

  • You will camp with your gear Friday night in the Group Camping area near the classroom. 

  • Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner will be provided on Saturday. If you have dietary restrictions, please bring your own food. 

  • Breakfast Sunday will be provided.

  • All equipment provided. 

  • The class will end Sunday no later than 12 noon. 

  • Tips to Instructors are greatly appreciated, but not expected.

Many employers will pay for or reimburse you for the cost of your training.

CEU's are printed on each Certificate of Completion.

Property Rules:

  • ZERO alcohol or drugs will be tolerated on the property, there are no exceptions. 

  • Early entry to the property on Thursday is not permitted. 

  • Clean up any mess that you create, police your camp area. Leave it as clean as it was when you arrived.

  • Only camp in the designated group camping area in front of the classroom (the big barn) in the field, DO NOT venture off into the woods or you will be banned from class and from coming back. 

  • Wood is first come, first served; outhouse is available, and water is available at the spigot.

We provide all you will need to complete the class with the exception of the following items:

  1. .22 Long Rifle

  2. 400 Rounds of ammo

  3. Eye and Ear Protection

  4. Rain Gear (Optional)

  5. Flash Light & Headlamp

  6. Camping Gear (Tent, Tarp or Hammock, Wool Blanket and/ or Sleeping Bag)
